Tseng heaved a deep sigh as the elevator carried him down the tower. He had agreed to meet with Killian Sinclair, one of the lower managers near the ground floor, purely out of obligation. He owed the man one favor, and after years Sinclair was finally cashing in.
"I’m sure you want to get back to work so I’ll cut to the chase. This is my son, Reno. I thought you two should meet.”

Rude quirked an eyebrow. “You were staring. See something you like?” Rude’s voice took a deeper tone, a rumble that Cloud could almost feel in his chest.

Reno and Rude stood at the front entrance, gazing at the building threatening to collapse over them. Rumors had reached Tseng’s ears about a new kind of monster, one that wore a human face and devoured its victims, was impossible to kill and could transform its victims into one of its own. And of course, this new monster was said to come from Shinra Tower.

Cloud’s face flushes a deeper crimson. “Fuck you, Turk.” He tries to turn to go back inside but Reno is too quick. He has Cloud pinned to the wall in less than a second. “That’s kinda the point, Strife,” he breathes, barely brushing his lips against Cloud’s jaw. “C’mon, just think of all the fun we could have.”
