When Satoru was still a child, he had a pet cat. A black cat he named Suguru, as that was the name of the person he kept seeing in his dreams.
A black cat he found after being hit by a bike. A black cat missing one front paw due to that incident. He was inseparable with his best friend cat.
Eating, sleeping, bathing, they did it together. He loved his cat dearly. Suguru was his best friend.
That cat died when Satoru was ten years old.
Since then, Satoru had been feeling like he was lacking something in his life.
Perhaps he was going crazy from losing the cat he loved so much. He still hadn't discovered anyone or anything that could fill the hole in his heart.That was until, one day, he saw the exact person he saw in his dreams. He instantly fell in love.
