    "I wouldn't know. I'm going to hell." Draken answers weakly, blinking up at him.

    Takemichi smiles breathlessly. He thinks of seeing a train's flashing lights come closer and closer to him. "I think it looks just like this."

    Takemichi, a simple servant living and working at one of the country’s most significant shrine sites, is convinced that he knows how the rest of his life will go: He will do his work around the shrines, assist the priests with menial tasks, and one day he’ll die.

    All of that gets thrown into disarray when he encounters a strange noble who won’t leave him alone, and subsequently gains a whole host of peculiar personalities barging into his previously simple life. And for quite a few it seems like there is more to them than meets the eye…
