Summary
It's eight years after the war and Hermione Granger has taken a break from her career at the Ministry of Magic to compile an oral history of the conflict. “Not everyone,” Hermione said, turning in her seat to reach up for the mug of tea she’d left on the kitchen counter.
“Who’s left? The trolley lady from the Hogwarts Express?”
“Your father.”
Malfoy opened his mouth and then closed it again with a click of his teeth, shaking his head. “You don’t want to do that, Granger.”
