    Summary

They were married under the Garland Moon.

Lysithea wore white with accents of purple, pale lilies in her pale hair instead of the more traditional pink florets. There was nothing traditional about them, the two of them, her bright-minded and barren, him upbeat, ambitious, and unbelonging. They were an odd pair. They made strange shapes; didn’t quite fit together, but fell similar in their strangeness.

Lysithea decided she might tolerate him.

“Rin-san,” says someone behind Rin, suddenly. Rin stops. Doesn’t turn around. “I thought I saw ya. Wondered if it was just my imagination.”

Shidou exists in the space Sae leaves behind, a situation that refused to be named. Shidou clings to brief moments and the longing for something more, Sae lives at a distant—impossible to read and every interaction leaves more unsaid that spoken.
Nothing is opently asked for and nothing is ever guaranteed. But yet, something keeps pulling them into the same orbit.

“From my perspective,” Edelgard says, again. A strained echo. “You followed me.”

    Summary

At last, Catherine would do what any Faerghus knight could only dream of. She would slaughter droves of people in a madwoman’s name, as she had for so long. She would weather every blow that came her way until she couldn’t lift her blade or bite or kick or scream. She would die in a sea of frozen corpses until the carrion birds came to pick her bones clean, same as any soldier, no matter the gold in her armor or the crest in her blood or the name of the person who’d sent her to an early grave.

And, if she had any say in it, Cyril would not.
