Summary
He doesn’t know what comes over him then. Or maybe he does. Either way, his body moves before his brain realizes what he’s doing, and Remus leans across the way, stretching his arm out, and knocks the fruit clean out of Sirius’ hand. It hits the ground with a soft thud, wobbling against the edge of the blanket, then slowly succumbing to the pull of gravity and tumbling down the gentle slope of the hill right towards the edge of the lake.
Sirius’ eyes follow it for all of a second before snapping back to Remus’ face, indignation written in the frown of his lips and the pinch of his brows.
A pendulous second passes. Two. Three. They both blink at each other, eyes owlish, dumbfounded. Sirius breaks the silence.
“Remus,” he starts, “what the bloody hell was-”
Remus kisses him.

Summary
Remus tried to sleep. He really did. He kept his eyes closed, he tried to go through the alphabet and think of the longest word that started and ended with the same letter, a trick that his mother taught him. Nothing worked. He wasn’t sure how long it had been, how many times he had heard “more” and “please” and “faster”. He adjusted himself again, and bumped into Sirius. He bumped into more Sirius than he was expecting. Remus froze.
“Are you … hard?”
Remus didn’t need Sirius to answer verbally. The question was rhetorical. He could feel the answer.

James and Lily were being too loud. Sirius decided to switch to Remus' room.
