    This is just my own thoughts of a theory I had when overthinking recent lore stuff. Please note that I have quit the game for good after Zamorak was framed as the villain, so I may not know any in-game details around & after that point.

    Basically, I think the game's story was supposed to be different, but with Sliske being killed off, they had to switch out characters to take over their missing roles.
