“You’ve never been with anyone, right?” Taishi asks, as though Aqua’s reactions to his touch aren’t answer enough. Not in this body, Aqua thinks, before settling on the significantly less complicated answer of, “No.”
“I’ll try to make your first time good, then.”
The Director may not know the truth, but he knows more than most anyone else: that Aqua isn’t quite who he says he is, that there’s more going on behind those haunting, haunted eyes than he lets on.
