And unfortunately, he can only get a gaggle of idiots who are more concerned with their own goals instead. Will Rex manage to achieve his goals before the world is laid waste by the Empire? Will he manage to keep his sanity long enough before his party members drain it all away? Who knows.

Summary
People once had everything. A galactic alliance, technology, colonies, and wealth. However, all of this was destroyed by the invasion of the Darkons from outside the alliance. All races had to fall asleep for millions of years, but something went wrong. Only one person woke up, and he was the last human: 14-year-old Lin. He wakes up in an unfamiliar world, terrified, and Gazelle offers him a new, peaceful life by her side. But are the Darkons really a thing of the past?
This is a story heavily inspired by the Mass Effect series but is in no way connected to it.
