until the time our fates intertwine in silence.""...Anaxa?," she weakly calls out to him. Her voice bereft of that typical regality. In that moment, she wasn't the Demigod, Goldweaver, or a Chrysos Heir. She was nothing more than a mortal woman sidled by strong feelings and vulnerability.
This was intended as a character study of Aglaea and Anaxa following me playing 3.2 and 3.3 quests. It's also self indulgent exploration following certain TB Quests. As such, SPOILERS ABOUND FOR THOSE PATCHES!

Anaxa and Lygus take a research trip to the sleepy village of Aedes Elysiae to study a phenomenon some claim to be proof of the divine. While the locals readily accepts their presence, their actions catches the attention of something greater lurking beneath the surface of the world as they understand it. Or perhaps, it has always welcomed those who seek to obtain their own answers and it has grown tired of waiting.

What he saw took his breath away.
A crystal clear lake sat undisturbed, the sway of a silver willow tree reflected in its waters. A field of flowers decorated a wide expanse of grassy land, the scent of mint was gentle--as though dancing in the air.
But what Phainon saw was neither the beauty of nature nor the peace and tranquility of the scene--his eyes were locked on the creature seated beneath the willow tree. Beautiful antlers adorned his head, suffused with an ethereal glow rivaling that of the gentle moon--a centaur, whose upper body was that of an alluring figure of a lean man with lithe limbs, and whose lower body was that of a stag.
