Summary
Riding courier along the long line of the Noldorin Siege, Celechwes of the Falas couldn’t help developing favorites among the strange, bright-eyed elves from the West. Namely, Fingon the Valiant, Prince of Dor-lómin, who always ran down the steps of his tower to fetch his own missives, who smiled with determination even on those days he didn’t smile with natural cheer; and Maedhros the Tall, stern Lord of cold Himring, who only seemed to smile at letters from his valiant cousin (and oh how it lit up his face).
What was she supposed to do but try to help them fix their family’s stupid, Doom-tempting schisms?

Their memories of their past lives having returned, they scramble to find their ways back to each other, try to keep their new families from killing each other, and maybe just redeem themselves along the way.
