Summary
The thing is, Simon always knew Wilhelm was a wanderer.
He knew that Wilhelm didn’t like to be tied down for too long. Didn’t like to be held back. Simon might even describe him as a little lost.
But that’s also what drew Simon in. The same qualities that should have sent him running for the hills and never looking back...they were the same qualities that made Simon stay. The same qualities that made Simon’s heart flutter and his stomach flip.
The things Simon loves most about Wilhelm Andersson, are the same exact things that he absolutely hates about him. Call it irony or the universe’s way of playing some kind of sick, cruel joke on him. But that’s just how it is.
