Summary
In the year 1183, Edelgard von Hresvelg, weary Emperor of Adrestia, exhausted and despairing from three years of war and loss, agreed to a peace treaty signing with the Church of Seiros to bring relief to her suffering people.
In the year 1181, Edelgard von Hresvelg, newly-crowned Emperor, declared war on the Church of Seiros and laid seige to Garreg Mach monastery, during which she was defeated and forced to retreat.
In the year 1180, Edelgard von Hresvelg enrolled in the Officer's Academy of Garreg Mach Monastery, where she met Byleth, a woman who would influence her goals, plans and future forever.
The Scars We Can't Erase is a dark, divergent, epic fantasy retelling of the events of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, told from the perspectives of Edelgard and Byleth, two women suffering enormous opposition to what they hold most dear, and the chain of events leading to the aforementioned historical notes...and what happened after in the alternate universe, not-Crimson Flower-but-still-kinda-Crimson Flower story.

Byleth is stuck in the liminal space in her mind, the realm Sothis used to inhabit. Thrown around helplessly, she ends up finding Edelgard... but their time is short, and is it even real? Nevertheless, Byleth takes it. It's all she can do to remain sane.

Emily left a report on Jesse's desk, but she was too tired to read the thing. She fell asleep almost immediately afterwards, on the usual couch. Her dream, however, was far from usual: she saw herself in a familiar glass cage in the Panopticon, wearing grey pajamas with P7 written on them.

One of Emily's reports becomes an altered item that apparently transports people to other realities in their sleep. When everything goes wrong and Jesse is left in a coma along with Dylan, Emily takes it in her own hands to dive in and get her back... -

Jesse and Emily have been dating and living together for a while. Both of them want each other a lot, but Jesse keeps having bad reactions to being touched, and she gets very frustrated with it. Emily is very undertstanding, though, and will try and do whatever she can to help her with that.

Summary

Now Emily was back, though - not a woman but a tiny bird, her punishment revealed to be eternity as a feeble robin redbreast. As new weirdly magical events start happening all around them and the spirit plane with their own tensions, how can they manage to bring her back to what she was?
