Summary
When Sirius Black dies in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, he expects to wake in the afterlife. Instead, he awakens in a body he recognizes — but it isn’t his anymore. Severely wounded and scarred, he finds himself back in 1975, the night he escaped the Black family home. The pain of his past is all too real, and the memories of a life he has already lived haunt him as he realizes he’s been sent back to his younger self, just hours after his escape. The physical wounds are fresh, but so is the trauma, the torture, the betrayal.
