Summary
Sonics knew his intentions were good, but he never asked Tails how he feels about the whole situation. The fox assumed that Sonic doesn't want to spend as much time with him as Tails does with the hedgehog. It left him kind of disappointed and left out. He's scared that someday, the blue hedgehog wouldn't come back to pick him up from the library anymore, and his new “home” would be a thousand shelves full of books instead of the presence of the hero of Mobius.

Or: Tails overthinks about the number of times Sonic reduced their time together, but luckily the hedgehog noticed that during their hang-out on top of a tall building.

“Hey, what about this one?” Sonic dangled a bra in her face. “It’s pink like you!”
“Ew, stop.” Amy shooed it away, standing on her tip-toes to look at the ones up higher.
“What?” Sonic’s head tilted as he frowned in disappointment, holding it out in front of himself. “It has bows!”
“Knuckles, please take that off…” Tails said in the background, sighing deeply as he watched Knuckles slide a bra over his head.
“But it fits so well!” The echidna insisted.
Amy groaned loudly. She was already regretting this, and they hadn’t even been there for five minutes.
