Summary
Weeks after Doc's previous crisis and draining of the bottle he seeks to chase that same warm feeling without the aid of liquor. Sanford remains mildly oblivious to the want of his company until Doc makes it very clear his presence is required. Soft conversations ensue with a hint of denial from one of the two as they begin to find comfort in one another.

Deimos was dead and he wasn't coming back. Hank had come to terms with it as soon as he'd found the Techie's mutilated corpse on the floor, but Sanford... not so much. Weeks later and still in a slump, he drives both him and Hank to their next location. One pit stop later, some comforting words and a sudden realisation later, Sanford begins to feel a little bit better.

Hiding away for few days, Hank seems to be extremely on edge after the events of MC 11, and who can blame him? The whole group out in the field has reconvened to strategize and come up with a new plan. It wouldn't be so bad but living with an old "friend" for a few days definitely has its awkward moments. Lucky for them, they're left alone for the day to catch up on lost time.
