Summary
As he reaches the top of the stairs, the merman is just climbing out of the tank, assisted by Eskel. Once again, Geralt feels his jaw drop, noticing that his tail is now legs. Long legs. Bare legs, that goes up, up, and lucky for all of them, the rest of the view is quickly hidden by a towel wrapped around a slim waist.
"Figures," he hears Eskel snort, "Jaskier, this is Geralt, our aquatic expert."
They are on separate ends of the room, the tank between them, but the world narrows down to just the two of them.
OR; Geralt works in an aquarium, and gets a surprise looking into the shark tank

It is a small sorceress with brown, unruly locks and a wicked sense of humor. Triss and Eskel met thanks to Ciri, and Yennefer, and Geralt, and somehow even that bard that pops up everywhere. Again and again they ran into each other until they didn’t have a choice but to like each other. -

Summary
Geralt opens the door. Outside stands a sheepish Jaskier with three big bags and a guitar case in the rain.
“Hi Geralt.” Jaskier is drenched. All his clothes are hanging off him and dripping water on the floor. “May I come in?”
As it turns out, Jaskiers apartment building had a giant water leak and his entire side of the building had to be evacuated as they repair and renovate it.As Geralt sits down on his couch he realizes two things. The first is that his couch is small. Way too small for someone to sleep on. The second is that that means that they have to share a bed.

Summary
Geralt is slow out the door so he impatiently grabs him by the wrist and drags him along. If he had looked back at the witcher he would see a small smile curve and his finger flex, but he does not look and so it remains a secret.
The first stall they visit has, surprise, knives. Geralt stops and admires the handiwork as Jaskier studies the rings next to them. The silver work is expertly done, but not what they had in mind. So Jaskier draws him to the next stand. And the next. -

The thing is, Witchers aren’t supposed to be affectionate. Geralt, in his own particular way, undoubtedly is however. Unfortunately, the Witcher is truly inept when it comes to handling affection and processing emotion. All of this is to say that Jaskier could have predicted this. “This” being Geralt standing helplessly as he holds a cat currently purring in his arms.
