Summary
“Why,” Gihun said, voice trembling with the effort to hold it all in. “Why did you let me live?”
Inho blinked. His smile faltered, replaced by confusion, “What are you talking about?”
“I said,” Gihun was on his feet before he even realized it, the chair screeching across the floor as he lunged across the table. “Why did you let me live?!”
Seong Gihun is in a weird place. He finds out that everyone is alive and never experienced the Games. He assumes this is the afterlife and realizes perhaps he can finally heal.
Then he meets Hwang Inho.
-------
Gihun is in a world where everybody lives but he believes the Inho here is still manipulative. So, he makes it a personal mission to be nice to everybody...
...Except Inho.

Summary
“Hwang In-ho,” In-ho flinched at hearing his name from a voice that had never spoken it aloud before. “I’m supposed to hate you and be glad you’ve sunk this low,”
What the hell was going on?
“so why do I just feel pissed off instead, huh?”
In-ho's head snapped downward immediately, pulling at a muscle or two in his neck, his eyes flying open just as quickly.
Stillness, pitch-black silence. That’s what he thought he’d see.
Not… not…
“Seong… Gi-hun…?”
A dead man lingers. In-ho does his best to live with it.

Summary
*FIX IT FIC*
*Under reconstruction - light edits per chapter*
In-ho makes a different choice before Gi-hun can. He breaks protocol. Starts the evacuation early.
After the Game, Gi-hun and In-ho are two men carrying the same kind of broken—grief-torn, guilt-heavy, and haunted by the choices that kept them breathing. What begins as excruciatingly fragile proximity deepens into something unshakable: a child who needs them both, feelings neither of them dare to name, and the terrifying, hard-won hope that they might still be worthy of joy. Orbiting the wreckage of who they used to be, they begin again—not cleanly, but together.
But peace doesn’t come easy. Not when the past hunts them with a badge and a grudge. Not when the line between guilt and forgiveness won’t stay still. As secrets unravel and old wounds split open, Gi-hun and In-ho must fight harder than ever—not for survival this time, but for a future they finally believe they deserve.

Summary
"He thought about Gi-hun, who was probably dead by now. After all, the world ate goodness. Consumed it like an animal eats raw meat, feeds on it and tears it up and destroys it. Who would know that better than In-ho? His wife, Gi-hun, these people were the type that the world swallowed whole.
And empty, rotten people like Hwang In-ho? Well, he'd probably live forever."
Hwang In-ho encounters Seong Gi-hun more than once, and each time, Gi-hun wedges himself deeper inside his mind. In-ho has been devoid of personhood for years, since his wife's death, but hope is a powerful thing. So, too, is love.

Summary
Gi-hun presses the button.
It was an accident. A chance result of his random stumblings, shoe catching awkwardly in the angular little chink as Player 333 takes a heaving swing at Gi-hun’s head with the metal pole.
--
A quick little fix-it oneshot after... that.
Gi-hun lives to be with his daughter. In-ho gives them a lift home.
