You don’t know how it got to this point, scratch that you did. It all started from the dinner, one you weren’t even expecting to be invited to. Or maybe it started the night you went home after returning from the circus, a feeling of being watched. You don’t know when it truly started but you do know it was Jester who was the catalyst.
Maybe it would have been better if you had said no to the dinner, or maybe it would have been better if you didn’t help the clown on the street. You don’t know.
Or maybe, just maybe your new life is better and you're just too scared to see it.
