Summary
Tails just may have made the biggest mistake of his life.
The abandoned Eggman machine he brought into his lab was the oddest thing he had ever encountered, though nothing compared to Doctor’s other big flops, like his huge robot cow or trying to take over the world through stinky cheese. So of course, he was far from prepared for what it did; ripping a hole in time and space.
And who would come out of the hole it created.Toodles had walked upon the rip in time and space by chance.
She was boooored out of her mind! Though venturing deeper into the abandoned floors while hiding from monsters was exciting somewhat, she wanted something new. Too bad exploring outside the center was basically illegal (which is pretty unfair btw) and no one understood her urge to leave a place so “safe.” So when she just so happens to be in the right place at the right time to see a portal open right in front of her from her wanderings around the center, what does she do?
She goes in to explore of course.So what happens when they inevitably cross? Well, I’d be more than happy to tell you how.

His head whipped around so fast he felt his neck groan in protest.
Her mother just slapped her.
Her mother.
Now that he’s seen it, Glisten’s memory cranked back to when she was talking to him, and that she had a bruise somewhere on her wrist. How did he not notice it earlier?! Him and his stupid self-absorbed brain!
It led his instincts to go overdrive. His body moved without thinking, and soon enough, he was in front of the girl, a hand out to shield her, and the other in a tight fist.
He took a deep breath in and crossed his arms, trying to appear intimidating, which probably didn’t work because the mother was, like, twice his height. Still, his eyes dulled into a half-lidded, sharp expression, the shine in it gone.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Glisten spat, blocking the girl from her mother’s line of sight.

When he realizes his whole existence is a joke and the few things he was useful for are now gone, he starts to notice some things. About himself, about others, and new opportunities are opened for the once angry shrimp. Some worse than others. Which doors will he open, if at all? Will he take the opportunity to change, or slowly die trying?
