Cool, smooth metal presses against his face before he can even register Mirage moving, shattering the memory that’s slowly engulfing him until it dissipates entirely. He’s left staring again at the metal beams above, the backdrop of yellow clouds far behind them, and the movement of a single tree branch swaying just within sight.
“Only you would have a roof fall on you and then ask if I’m the one that’s okay.”
Noah and Mirage get trapped under a pile of rubble together. While waiting for someone to come free them, they get... comfortable.

Summary
It was a well-known fact around the office that Stanley Rider and Nathan Parable… didn’t get along so well. The men could often be seen in the breakroom bickering over every topic under the sun- whether it was work-related or otherwise. Even the higher-ups knew not to pair them together on projects, and most tried to distance the two as much as possible, in order to keep things moving smoothly.

Stanley and Nathan don't like each other very much, but one time after an argument, one of Stanley's coworkers called Stanley a name. It was not a very nice name, but it's not like Stanley was around to hear it.
Nathan was though.
And he's not a fan of people who aren't him insulting Employee #427.

Summary
It's nearing Christmas, and Soldier ends up in a conundrum after he's dared by Demo to tell Engineer he likes him. Unexpectedly, Soldier develops feelings for him along the way; but everything goes downhill once Engineer discovers it all began with a bet from the drunkard. Despite the both of them being heartbroken, Soldier wants to at least get Engineer's friendship (or more?) back by New Year’s Eve.
