Summary
His shaking hands moved to take one of Sawamura’s between them. A sob wrenched itself from his chest involuntarily when their skin touched. He was warm. Sawamura was too still and too quiet but he was warm and that meant he was alive and Miyuki didn’t have to watch, to feel as the life ebbed out of someone he cared for. Didn’t have to try to pin the smoke of a dying flame to the earth when it was predestined to disperse into the atmosphere and leave him in the cold and dark.

Summary
Sawamura didn't know how to act when his coach apologised to him after throwing him to the deep end. After getting the yips and being put on the back burner, he felt lost and neglected, especially seeing how most of his teammates left him stranded with no help whatsoever. So how was he supposed to act around the team now, especially around his so-called battery partner, Miyuki Kazuya, who had ignored him to prioritise their ace-sama? Will everything change when an eager first-year expresses his interest in replacing Miyuki as Sawamura's catcher? And how will the appearance of the two men watching Sawamura's pitching in their game against Ichidai affect Sawamura and the team?

Summary
He felt like he was being swallowed by hate— no, more like by despair, and grief. Despair because he felt like no matter what he does, it’ll never be enough. Grief because he’s starting to hate the thing he loves the most.
He is tired. Really tired.
