    Then a pinch at his neck, like a bee sting, but deeper. Darkness. Then here.

    Huh. Kidnapped. That’s new. If he was less emotionally dead from finals and sleep deprivation, he’d probably have a stronger and much more appropriate reaction to that.

    At least he's got Captain America and the Winter Soldier to keep him company.

    The fucking stones will not take his dad away from him. Even if Peter himself must uphold the power of the Universe.
    Tears in his eyes as his right side seems like it is set on fire, Peter knows that he has to keep going and finish this battle for the last time. He has to shut his mouth and endure the pain even if it is tearing him from the inside out. Mr. Stark has to live for Miss Potts, for his daughter, for May. Someone has to take care of them, someone like Mr. Stark and not like the walking disaster Peter Parker.
    If protecting the ones he loves means dying,
    Dying would be fine.

     

    OR, an alternative ending to Endgame where upon realizing mid battle that Tony's going to use the gauntlet to finish everything, Peter doesn't accept it and decides that his life isn't worth living if that means everyone else can be saved instead.

    Peter is thrown back into the life that he was torn from and struggles to find his place in the world.
    Morgan was a baby when they were taken, so she experiences everything and everyone, for the first time.

    Tony struggles to take his eyes off them.
    May wants to hold them in her arms, for the rest of time.
    Pepper can't stop counting the days they've lost.

    It's difficult - Peter is a changed person, and Morgan has no memory of them.

    The last thing Peter sees is Tony's horrified, heartbroken expression leaning over him. The guilt in his eyes is almost worse than the burning pain that's taking Peter apart piece by piece. The world starts to go dark.

    There's a flash of gold and green. For one moment, he finds himself standing amongst the Guardians and others. And then darkness again. It feels like blinking; an extended period of nothingness that ends as abruptly as it begins. One moment there’s nothing, the next there’s light.

    “Easy,” a woman says. Her words are gentle, and carry a slight accent that he can’t place. "I'm called Wonder Woman. What's your name?"
