Standing up on a platformed stage in front of what felt like millions of cameras - though there were maybe only 15 - waiting to make a statement that was going to change the lives of not just her family but maybe an entire professional sports league.

I love Wyatt Hayes more than is reasonable. Lisa seems fine? but she's not fleshed out at all in the books so I've taken some creative liberty with her made her kind of an OC-ish. Timeline wise this is obviously also a little mixed up with Shane and Ilya both being on the Cens prior to Wyatt meeting his future wife. First couple chapters are total goober fluff but it starts to get more serious/angsty in the later ones. I don't have a specific update schedule but I do try for at least once a week if I can!
it's love at first sight for our besotted goaltender but Lisa has some demons that might be trouble. Or, they could be exactly what they need to finally bring down Toronto for good.
Shout out to Reddit u/Dry-Construction-647 who suggested to use an AU Lisa which I think did make the story more interesting.
