    Shuuichi unexpectedly stands up, his office chair nearly tipping over from the force of it, takes Kokichi’s hands in his own and looks straight at him. He doesn’t comment on how clammy his hands are, or how he can feel him shaking but just smiles at him.

    “I like you.” Shuuichi breathes deeply, as if he’s ran a marathon. “I like you, a lot.”

    Huh? He already knows Shuuichi likes him, well, at the very least tolerates him. They hang out a lot and they’re good friends despite his tendency to lie every time he opens his mouth.

    “Who wouldn’t like me? We’re like besties too, of course you like me.”
