Izaya first came to the karaoke club for a job. But the anonymity and performances intrigued him, so he kept coming back. Masked and under the pseudonym "Psyche" he meets "Delic", a performer at the club who keeps him coming back for more.
Through performing together they form a bond that may lead to more, but who is he really? And what will he think when he finds out who "Psyche" really is behind the mask?A completely self indulgent fic that I thought would be a one-shot but that developed into more.

None of that hate makes it past his lips. “He got everything.” The words are flat- lifeless- dead before they even left his lips.The words linger for a moment, hover between them, and he regrets speaking them. That is until: “Not quite true, lad.” The older man smiles, just a little, and pats the Bentley. “You got this car,” He ducks his head a little, seemingly trying to peer into the back seat. “Some mighty fine plants,” He straightens up. “And most importantly- you got you.”
