Summary
Everyone knows that somewhere out there is someone that is perfect for you. Someone who will fit with you better than anyone else. A soulmate. Everyone knows this because all you have to do is follow your red string and it will take you to them. You just have to pay attention.
The string keeps popping in and out of existence through the years, always when Potter is around, sometimes when that Granger girl is but Draco refuses to accept that. It must be Potter.
Draco has been distracted, he has not been paying attention because if he had he would remember his string showed itself twice before Hogwarts and Potter had been living under some stairs then. Instead, there was a certain family of redheads nearby.
