"Grace’s first observation was that Rocky was warm. It was probably the sole thing his stupid hindbrain had latched onto. Warm meant fire. Fire meant food. So really, why wouldn’t it? There were other things— infinitely more important things— to notice. Like how, for instance, Rocky wasn’t putting his entire weight onto Grace. Any force he applied was carefully measured and calculated to make sure that Grace didn’t get crushed by the weight.
But, most importantly, Rocky was warm, especially under a fully luminous sun."

Grace's touch-starved subconscious conjures up a dream about hugging Rocky. Rocky sees what unfiltered sobbing looks like for the first time. He panics accordingly.

I laugh lightly, letting my shoulders relax slightly. "Oh. Yeah, that's nothing to worry about. That sound is coming from one of my internal organs; it's called a heartbeat."
Rocky recoils slightly. "Strange. Strange strange strange. Eridians no hear other Eridians internal organs." He pauses for a moment, like he's considering something, and then moves forward again, closer to the walls of his xenonite hamster tube. "What purpose, question?"
"Well, that's… a lot of information."

Thor followed her gaze, his eyes landing on Loki. His expression changed in an instant. Shock. Disbelief. Discomfort. Surprise? He stood up, approaching with a look of caution in his eyes. "Loki...?"
“…Brother.” Loki finally managed out.
Thor stopped just a few feet away from him, studying him intently. It felt like he was taking in every detail of Loki's appearance, trying to process that it was truly his brother, standing right in front of him.
A mix of emotions warred within Thor, but one was absolute. “This cannot be.”
