Summary
Three weeks after the world is saved, the silence between them still aches.
Columbina Hyposelenia waits in the quiet aftermath, hollowed by the absence of her golden star—a presence she can no longer feel at her side. Aether wanders far from home, carrying doubts he cannot bring himself to lay bare before his silver moon. Bound by fate, memory, and something deeper than love, they linger in the same quiet fear—of wanting too much, of reaching too soon.
Yet moonlight and starlight still drift toward one another, drawn by a bond that refuses to fade. Longing softens into resolve. Some distances were never meant to endure.
It is time.
They are coming home.

Summary
After all the twists and turns in the planet of festivities, two individuals settle down at their favorite hideout at a certain rooftop in the Dream's Edge and spend their last moments together. Although they loved the time they spent together more than anything, they knew they had to soon say farewell once again. There was just one problem though: a lingering feeling of desire had plagued the Trailblazer's mind that just had to get solved.
Spoilers for 2.3, the much-needed epilogue between the Trailblazer and Firefly that Hoyo painfully excluded for whatever reason. I hope you enjoy! Please read the notes at the end.

It was reflected in the cold, lonely courtyard under the silver moon — that strand of starlight had always lingered in her heart...
And linger it did, even across millions of years, even across countless worlds long extinguished.
