Her body was too exhausted to move another muscle. Her voice had long left her soul. She had given up begging Falco, demanding and screaming at him to turn back. She had gone still. Only the occasional rumblings of the vehicle and brakes had shifted her around.
Letting the world have control over her once more, the only reason for her resistance up until this point is currently laying there in Corpo Plaza with his head open. She was defeated, in all senses of the word. Tired.
Tired of moving, tired of screaming, tired of fighting. Tired of living.

She hadn’t wanted him to die. She hadn’t wanted him to step any closer to her life than what use he might have offered during those very first moments. Maybe amusement, curiosity had done it. At first, maybe, the pity of the already broken towards the whole.
Which she’d misunderstood, he probably knew how unjust life was about as intimately as the rest of them, he probably knew very well what missing pieces felt like.
A world full of augmentations, and they’re all just walking around with metal scraps detaching from their minds.
