Summary
The villagers claimed the mountain was cursed by a demon whose name he couldn’t remember. A winged demon lives on the mountain’s peak, the villagers whispered, as if it would descend upon them if they spoke too loudly of its existence. But demons and monsters were just folktales told to juveniles as warnings. Oftentimes, men were the actual monsters, concealed beneath the skin and smiles worn by those around them.
At least that's what Kyojuro believed until he meets the demon who lived on the mountain.

Summary
