Summary
Yeosang studies him for a moment, wariness flickering in his chest like a lighter struggling to catch. It’s nothing, just a stranger asking a question. Still, caution pricks at the edges of his posture.
“Sorry,” the man says again, catching the shift in Yeosang’s body. “I didn’t mean to weird you out. I, uh... I come here a lot. I’ve just never seen you around before.”
That softens something. The sincerity in his voice isn’t performative—it’s just awkward. Human. Like maybe he’s not used to talking to people, either.
Yeosang blinks slowly, forcing his shoulders to relax.
“We just moved in,” he says evenly. “Literally today. We were walking around, exploring.”
