"The ERC had an end-of-year meeting a few days before our winter banquet. The NCAA made a big fuss about Kevin and me, as always. They told my uncle they had some concerns about the season. They were sure Kevin was holding himself back for my benefit, which is obviously baloney. They wanted to know if it was my uncle's doing. In response, he forced us to spar against each other one-on-one for hours. I don't even know how long we were on the court. I was worried Kevin was going to collapse. In the end, I won." He lets that sink in before continuing. "My uncle threw Kevin out like he was nothing, like he was less than for losing to me when anyone would've. He was just lying on the ground… and then I saw the blood." Riko makes a choking noise that makes Kevin want to strangle him (to make it real). "But Kevin got up. He's always been the bravest of us. My uncle's always had a temper, but the idea that he could do something like this… Kevin ran, and I couldn't stay with the man who hurt the brother whom I wouldn't be half as good as I am without, so I followed. And now we're here."

Summary
Abram and Mary were out of time. Their contact had been rotten, they were told he would be directing business at home, except he wasn't. Abram's father was on a business trip in Seattle. Abram and Mary were the business in question. Things never went as planned for them. For better or for worse. That was how they got here in the first place after all.
OR: If Nathan was less of a horrid father. The years spent of the run were the messiest fight over custody in all History. Stuart is done with their bullshit. Nathaniel "Identity/Family Issues" Wesninski still ends up with the Foxes. Everything goes to shit as usual.
AND: Columbia takes a wrong turn, Nathaniel's Unhinged Great Escape doesn't help, neither does The Butcher reclaiming answers about the mess. Andrew spirals from there, Nathaniel strikes a deal with him, and he is determined to have Andrew (+ others) see through the end of their healing journey, even if he has to drag them kicking and screaming all the way up. It only goes downhill from there.

No. He wasn't. Kevin hated how everything in him screamed to protect. Whenever he got a whiff of Aaron's scent he wanted to scoop Aaron up, help him nest and do things he'd rather not think about. He never did any of that, obviously.
Or, Aaron unexpectedly goes into his first heat. Luckily, he has two alphas he trusts by his side.

Summary
Aaron Minyard grew up around his twin Andrew who knew that he liked boys early on. It took a few more things for Aaron to catch on like: relationship with Katelyn for three years, her coming out as a lesbian, positive example of Andrew and his boyfriend Neil and also going on a dating app. There he came across the infamous Kevin Day who he swiped right on just because he knew he didn’t stand a chance. That was his first mistake.
