Summary
(This work is on indefinite hiatus. I've realized that the plot and relationships will not necessarily work out the way I planned for them to, so I'm considering what to change or if it's reasonable to just drop the story all together. Hopefully, I'll be back with this one or another fic in the future! Thank you~ / July 8th 2025)
For the Xianzhou, believing in something like "forever" was perhaps not all that difficult. But you often found yourself questioning: were there really things that would never change or disappear? Maybe the stories that you told around the Hexafleet, or the crimes and secrets of your past that never seemed to trail very far behind. But not all was as it appeared. Sometimes, "forever" was just a beautiful lie...
Or, the reader has a complicated past with the Xianzhou, it catches up with her, and various things follow~
