Note from Ash: until further notice this fic will remain unfinished. In 2021 Candy vanished from the fandom and never contacted anyone who considered her a friend again after being caught in some drama. It sucks but we had over 400k of fic planned for this - it takes time to edit and go over and frankly it hurts to knowing she dropped me like that :/ I might at some point add more when I can actually think about this fic

Summary
~ The whole Yi City Arc never happened (also story is based on the novel, not the television adaptation)~ Song Zichen got cured, didn't need the eye donation from Xiao Xingchen, and both cultivators reached immortality to an exceptional degree, acquiring other powers. They're a couple now and Zichen had slowly stopped suffering from mysophobia but something bad happens and their world is perhaps doomed. His mental illness is back again.
~ Somewhere in our Planet Earth, in a different (our) dimension, time and space, an ancient spirit (soul) floats, slightly desensitized: Xue Yang.
