The song "The Difference" by Daya was what originally gave me this loose idea.

A githyanki chooses only for the good of the collective, but she was branded hshar'lak. Hunted by her own people. Lae'zel was barely a true githyanki anymore, not any more than the so-called Blade of Frontiers with his idealist do-gooding, or Karlach and her metal heart. Lae'zel had nothing to choose for.

Summary
Wyll runs a pottery studio and recently hired Lae'zel as his apprentice and studio assistant. Some time later, he opens evening pottery classes to make ends meet. One day Wyll's out sick, and it's up to Lae'zel to teach the class that day. That day's lesson: pulling handles for cups and mugs. Unfortunately Shadowheart, one of the class students, finds the lesson very funny as pulling handles reminds her of a rather lewd gesture.
