Summary
Bedsharing is common sense amongst the dwarves. Heating the cold stone of Ered Luin is difficult and resource intensive, not to mention sleeping with kin is considered a marker of safety and closeness.
Sometimes, despite their penchant for producing hoards of faunts, even hobbit couples don't share beds, especially in the upper class families. It's common sense. Your spouse might snore or wake up for breakfast earlier than you. Sleeping with friends or family once you're no longer the youngest of faunts? Unheard of, and odder than Rudagar's rutabaga-shaped back mole besides.
Or: Bilbo is very confused, and the company doesn't understand and insists.

Summary
"Throw him from the rampart!"
Bilbo cannot forget those words as he leaves Erebor with Gandalf, carrying with him something entirely unexpected, something he thought he had lost. When Thorin finally recovers and sets out to repent for his misdeeds under the hold of the Arkenstone, he finds much more than what he was looking for in the Shire.
This fic is still in progress I promise! But I have to wait for my hyperfixations to come back around before I get the inspiration to write. I apologize for the long time between updates but I want what I post to be good and not forced/rushed just to get it posted.

Summary
Harry Potter has always known he was different from the Dursleys, but when he meets Death at the age of nine, he learns of an entirely new world. A magical one. He knows to expect a letter from a magical school, and is happy to learn that when Professor McGonagall shows up to deliver it personally, she has no intentions of ever sending him back to the Dursley home and instead informs him of his birthright as an heir not only to the Potters but also to the Blacks. Now with a home of his own, although plagued with a yapping portrait and a scowling house-elf, Harry finally learns what it means to be free, and he begins his schooling. However, Harry quickly discovers the magic he uses is not like that of his schoolmates, but something else entirely, something old and forbid-den in Britain, and he has to hide away his true self to not rouse any suspicions.
Or
Harry Potter uses old magic, considered dark, he’s slightly bookish, unhinged and weird. During his fourth year at the Triwizard tournament an obsessive Durmstrang student seems infatuated with him, and he can't tell if becoming closer with this boy will make him happy or lead him directly to hell.- Language:

Can he succeed without straying away from the plan?

Sorry about updates. I don't have a schedule, nor the ability to keep to one. It is a WIP, and I will let you know if it's not. I'm going off to University next year, so I'll have to wait and see.
If you don't like what I'm writing, don't read. Simple. If you have any ideas for a plot event, add a comment to let me know and I'll see if it fits the plot.
