Summary
Leonard McCoy, an intelligent and fierce omega, is fresh out of an abusive marriage to an alpha who didn’t want him becoming a doctor - a profession dominated by alphas. To escape the pain, he became CMO on Starfleets flagship Enterprise. Once there he meets Montgomery Scott, head engineer and alpha. As their relationship blooms from friendship to something deeper, Leonard realizes he can trust Monty with everything that he is. While on board not only does he grow closer to Monty but he develops a deep friendship with fellow omega Spock and one James T. Kirk.
This is a love story that explores Leonard and Monty’s life as they go from friends, to lovers, to husbands to parents.Spock and Kirk’s relationship is also developed in this story.
Please note that in chapter 6 they travel to the mirror universe and there Mirrior Spock forces a mind meld on Leonard.
