Summary

Darcy's power isn't contained exclusively to dreams. On touch alone, she can sense a person's most deeply rooted emotions, no matter how subconscious. She feels all of that joy or pain as if it's her own.
So when she accidentally touches Homelander, America's Greatest Hero, she's shocked when she's overwhelmed by his crushing loneliness.
Darcy and Homelander get off on the wrong foot, but when he realizes that she's quite possibly the only person capable of understanding him, curiosity turns to obsession.

You let Homelander into your apartment, and then into your body. Not much else to say, this was incredibly self-indulgent smut that I wrote after watching Season One.

After the plan to rescue Becca Butcher goes sideways, you think Homelander is going to kill you... but he doesn't. Over time, you come to realize that he's a broken man, but he's not necessarily the heartless monster you thought he was.
Feeling guilty over taking his son from him and still afraid that he might kill you, you agree to a fake relationship for the cameras to rehab his image after Stormfront's nazism comes to light. He hasn't hurt you, but behind closed doors, he's incredibly difficult to read.
But he's still a monster, and nothing is scarier than realizing that he's come to care for you.

Reaver can't stand to be around her ever since she went and became a mother on him. He only remains in the castle for the power and prestige of being a member of Her Majesty's inner circle—at least, that's what he tells himself.
But when bandits kidnap a very young Logan, and their ransom note dictates that the boy will be killed if Sparrow herself sets foot outside of the castle, Reaver takes matters into his own hands.
This is a Spreaver fic, but it focuses more on Reaver coming to terms with the fact that he does care about his family, even if he was desperate not to.

The first thing he heard when that busted up old van rolled into town was a god awful rattling that told him the wheel bearing was beyond fucked and you were all lucky the wheel hadn’t popped right off and went careening down the highway without you.
You didn’t get his funeral act—he happened to already be hard at work when the rust bucket rolled in, so of course, he was in a pretty shit mood about having to deal with new arrivals right that second until you popped out of the window like a Dukes of Hazzard reject—your sweaty hair matted to your face and your ratty old band tee clinging to your body for dear life in the summer heat.
That lightened his mood right away—you’d look real pretty in his basement, and he was already running through all the ways he’d enjoy making you cry when he realized something awfully damn disappointing.-Notes at the End-

This AU will follow Sparrow and Reaver’s adventures and explore the influence of Sparrow’s late-pirate parents; in addition to delving into the themes of loss, guilt, and letting go prevalent in both of their stories.
Reaver acts, albeit unintentionally, as Sparrow’s heroic guide; ultimately leading her the destiny she’s so desperately avoided.
