So he did what he could with the powers he has now, and send MK back to the past, to make sure this future isn't real. But even with his new powers, he couldn't control them, and made a new world. Sending MK to a timeline, one that questions him.

     

    Or another time travel au where MK gets sent to the past during the brotherhood. :)

    But Denji still does whatever Makima asks of him, even if it makes him ill. When Makima asks him to go to UA High School, Denji agrees.
