Summary
May had arrived a fortnight ago, and she brought with her a torrent of summer loveliness: by her will the fruit was riper and gave easier way to tearing fingers, the ground jolted and sprung with grasshoppers and backsplash from humid summer showers, mouths were sweeter without trying, and everything everywhere burst with regal sunlight. The two sat in the grass, intending to study several verbs in Hebrew.
