    Summary

    Din presents as an omega soon after the death of his Buir. He’s scared and confused, not understanding what’s happening to his body. Paz, the boy’s only tentative friend, finds him after he’s cornered by members of their covert and takes him to the armorer.
    Their culture teaches that Din is to be protected and value as an omega, but the tribe can’t lose such a skilled member when their numbers are already low. Drastic measures are taken to ensure that Din stays in the position where he’s wanted and devastating consequences follow.

    This fic follows Din and Paz as they grow and come to accept that the covert, their only home, isn’t what they think it is.
