Summary
John finds out that 'Rook' isn't actually the Deputy's name and goes on a hunt to find out what his real name is. Except the Deputy won't tell him and his awful friends won't tell him either. It doesn't help that he's pretty sure Jacob knows but won't say and John is going to find out, whether the Deputy likes it or not.

“Hold on, you don’t know my name?” The Deputy has paused at the door, looking at John with a confused expression.
“I thought it was Rook, but the Sheriff has graciously cleared that up for me now.”
John hates the grin that lights up the Deputy’s dumb face as he clearly delights in John not knowing his name “You seriously don’t know my name? Mr. 'Big shot lawyer from Atlanta who knows everyone and everythin’ in Hope County' don’t know my name?”
“I’ll throw out these burgers, I swear.”

Summary
The Seeds meet in the forest in regards to a certain Deputy that's been causing trouble. During the process, they are interrupted by said Deputy, only it's not for reasons one might automatically assume.

Instead, the Deputy comes barrelling out of the bushes, determination hard on his face and a hand on top of the Stetson he’s wearing to keep it from falling off (John wants to burn it, it’s hideous) before he pauses when he realises just who it is he’s accidentally come across in the middle of the forest. Or rather, a number of who’s.
He pauses, eyes flicking between each of John’s siblings as well as the number of Chosen who have grabbed their guns and are now pointedly aiming them at the Deputy before John watches him awkwardly straighten up and clear his throat.
“Afternoon all. Don’t suppose you’ve seen a pig around here? About yay high,” He gestures at the high of his knee with his hand, palm flat “And wearing a collar? Answers to the name Princess? Though… I don’t know if she even knows that’s her name.”

Summary
She sings softly as she waits for him to pass, a welcoming smile on her lips only to falter as the Deputy appears, that faithful mutt at his side and he doesn’t seem to be intent on stopping in his determined stride. She opens her mouth to speak, ready to welcome him into the bliss with open arms but instead, he speaks, his tone edged with fear, mild confusion, and breathlessness as his feet continue to pound on the ground.
“No thank you, ma’am, not right now.”
And he runs straight past her and disappears into the bushes, leaving Faith standing there somewhat stunned with her arms still outstretched as she tries to process what just happened.
