Summary
A decade ago, Zeke met his ex-father Grisha's new family: his wife Carla, and their daughter, Eren. Eren, then aged ten, was very resentful towards Zeke, and the two never said a word to each other.
Zeke had always assumed he'd never see them again, but his mother Dina, Grisha's ex-wife, passes away, and Zeke decides to let Grisha know. Which turns out to be a mistake, because Grisha asks if Carla and Eren could attend Dina's funeral. Zeke, for some reason, says yes.
Eren is quite different to what Zeke remembers. She's taller and has long hair. And there's something else about her, too. Zeke finds out what that something is, and it turns out he was never told a very important piece of information about Eren.
