“Ouch! Wow, gege, no need to be so rough,” Wei Ying tried to sit up, but the stranger was already on top of him before he had the chance, pinning his arms above his head. Their nose were inches apart. The man growled, “Behave,” Wei Ying could feel butterflies fluttering in his stomach. Oh yeah, the nerves were coming back, definitely just the nerves. “Ah! But gege! How am I supposed to get food and water? I’m really hungry and thirsty. I haven’t eaten for an entire day! Have pity on this feeble man!” Wei Ying dramatically whined. The stranger’s eyebrows pinched before giving a jerky nod and turning towards the door. Just as the stranger was about to close the door, Wei Ying called out to him.
“Ah! Gege! It’s very rude of you not to tell me your name!” The stranger stood still for a moment, seeming to contemplate something.
“Lan Zhan,” And then he shut the door.

It’s always impossible to see beyond the blinding lights from the stage, so Xiao Zhan has started to imagine his own crowd full of elegant, beautiful people.
