    It has become their routine. Three times a week, maybe more, Dabi knocks on the balcony window and Hawks is his for a few hours. And if he’s lucky Hawks will grant him a sleepy cuddle after. Until Dabi leaves. Satisfied, elusive, in control.
    He never sleeps over, no matter how much he likes Hawks’ fingers carding through his hair, or how pleading Birdie stares after him when he leaves.
    That’s why it’s such a surprise when his phone chimes and he sees a message from Hawks.
    >Hawks: Go home.

    (Dabi breaks into Hawks' place for a quick fuck, disregards all warnings, and ends up in a Situation.)

    “Y-Yeah,” the slightly stuttered answer is beyond charming. Shōta’s already imagining a thousand and one ways he can hear that stutter again in more private settings. “Y-You’re my favorite hero.”

    See, that dark voice whispers delightedly in Shōta’s ear again, he’s already yours.

    “Hmm,” Shōta hums, all of Nedzu’s training scurrying to the forefront of his mind. Careful, careful, his old sensei’s voice hums in his ear, you don’t want to startle your prey. “Not many people know Underground Heroes, especially not me.”

    “I-I,” that stutter is back in full force along with a fresh wave of red across those cheeks, “I’m a-an analyst so I-I read a lot of your case files.”

    Hawks takes baby steps backwards, getting closer and closer to the door, as everyone continues to get loud and look at eachother for answers. Well, almost everybody; Dabi is watching him limp away with an unimpressed expression.

    “Those are torture wounds,” Shigaraki points out, crossing his arms and leveling Hawks with a dead-eyed stare.

    “How do you even know what torture wounds look like?” Hawks throws back as he continues to plan his escape. Shigaraki looks at him with raised eyebrows until Hawks looks away again, feeling like an idiot. These people are villains, he knows that (but its so easy to forget-).

    “Right, fuck.”

    Hawks flicks him a two fingered salute before turning tail like the coward he feels like and making for the door. He doesn't get more than four feet before Dabi grabs him by one of his wings and yanks him back.
