The boy couldn't explain himself why she would let him suffer like that, leave him behind like she did. That is what kept him from doing it. From letting himself fall off the rooftop. From plunging the knife deep into his chest after he finished cutting the vegetables.
There had to be a purpose, there had to be!A Ken-centric story.

Summary
Ken opens and closes his mouth a few times. For a second, he wants to say never mind and run to the train, because it’s just right there and he really doesn’t want to be around Aragaki.
But he feels nauseous and the stalker is still watching him, Ken knows he is, and his side is starting to really hurt.
But he chokes on his words when he goes to explain, so instead Ken wraps his arms around his stomach, trying not to brush against the bruise on his side, and gives Aragaki the widest eyes he could bring himself to make.
“I don’t feel so good,” he reluctantly whines. And after a second, “Please?”
...
Ken has a lot on his plate, between his injuries, the stalking, and his ever-present suicidal thoughts. If only he would realize the team would do anything to help him out.
