The Book of Bill was a failure.
Bill was immediately caught attempting to communicate between dimensions, and all of his work was confiscated.
The good news is that, yay, this is the better timeline! He eventually works his shit out! Good on you, buddy!
He is deemed rehabilitated and given a second chance: reincarnation. The Bill of yestermillenium would’ve sooner killed himself than accept existing as a human with no powers or recollection of his past life, but the Bill who’s a newer, better triangle demon takes it with humble gratitude!
