Summary
"Chan, do not speak to anyone else but me, do not mention any names, do not drink or eat to avoid your mask from moving, and most importantly”—Minho took a pause to shake off any negative feelings and sighed—“treat me like I am yours."
Maybe the lightheadedness from the lack of air in his lungs or the mask rendering him faceless made his shame reside. He didn't spend sleepless nights thinking of all the ways this could go wrong for him to not have a good time now.
(A new stable master Chan is appointed to serve the royal family. Prince Minho finds shelter in a commoner’s arms, in his open and honest demeanor.)

Summary
Only his computer screen illuminates the features on his face, and he watches from his monitor the two people on his screen. Really, it reminded him somewhat of a game of Sims. Like characters waiting to perform actions, and he never quite knows what to expect. Chan observes and flicks some popcorn into his mouth as he does so. Waiting, and analyzing.
Lee Minho had been the pretty boy he had his eyes set on for a while.
(or: Bang Chan spies on Lee Minho.)

Summary
Lee Minho was born into a name that opened doors and a father who never saw a son.
He learned early.
Love is conditional. Loyalty is transactional. Weakness is punished. So he became quiet. Sharp. Untouchable.
Bang Chan doesn’t break people. He studies them.
A surgeon. A tactician. A monster carved from loss.He watches Minho the way other men watch storms — patient, waiting to see what survives.
Chan doesn’t want obedient boys.
He wants wolves. And Minho has spent his entire life starving.
In Masquerade, criminals vanish. Governments comply. Wars shift quietly.
But inside a seaside cabin, something far more dangerous begins.
Not captivity.
Not mercy.An offer.
What happens when the discarded son of one empire
is truly seen by the man who built another from blood? When survival becomes ambition?
When hunger finds purpose?Welcome to the circus.
Where monsters are made —
and bastards learn to rule.Bookmarked by Stayelli
