Minho opened his eyes slowly. They were hazy from the heat and a vulnerability that made Chan’s pulse race. The King tilted his head slightly, a look that was half-challenge, half-plea.
"I did, didn't I?" Minho whispered, seeking in the guard’s eyes a validation his councilors would never know how to give.
"You did," Chan confirmed, the word sounding like a promise.

Minho just wanted to end it all tonight but, unknowingly, Chan ruined his suicide plans, barging into his flat to drag the younger to some nightclub with him. Deep inside he knew Chan was right, that he needed to release some stress and let loose completely. Maybe then he would stop being so tired with life. He treats their home like one of those touch tanks at the aquarium and seems to be under the impression that this is a hotel. Oh, and he stole Chan's room from him. Not just his room, but his bed too.
Chan really dislikes this guy even if he is pretty.

“Ignorance is bliss—Hyunjin-ah,” Minho said. His hair had grown substantially, a flop of black mess that reached the middle of his forehead. Minho felt nostalgia tickle him.
However, the Hyunjin in front of him was eons different from the Hyunjin from then. He remembered that Hyunjin crying in the bathroom after he’d read the backlash from their ‘fans’ for his new haircut near Maxident. He recalled sitting next to the younger on the bathroom floor and just existing until he was ready to talk again.
After the new haircut, Minho remembered feeling that same protective drive again, the one which was ready to defend Hyunjin against anyone who wanted to speak ill of him, but to his surprise, the haircut had seemed to be like some acceptance to Hyunjin, he seemed to care less about external opinions and the members only showered him in love.
Without thinking much, Minho approached Hyunjin and brought his hand to the younger man’s hair—and then ran his fingers through them. “Your hair’s still damp, let hyung dry them for you.”

Minho knew enough about presenting from all the research he'd done on it before. It hasn't exactly been… easy for him to accept the fact that he could — in his words — never be the 'perfect mate' for Jisung (even if Jisung shut it down every time with a flurry of kisses and firm reassurance).
